glad to see your back, i've been checking your blog every week and hoping that you two were okay! my daughter (named lily too) is 17 months and it gets a little easier. well, now she can move furniture (!), climb the furniture, open drawers and i can't take my eyes off of her for a second!

She is so heartbreaking cute!
Don't know how many times I heard the words "time flies" when my children were babies and I got a little tired of them (yes - both the words and sometimes the children too). But now when my kids are 17 and 13 I fully understand the need for parents to say those specific words. It is so true. Even if it's hard at times, please try to fully enjoy the precious moments with your little girl, they will be gone in just a second or two.

Lovely to hear (read...) from you again! Your daughter is absolutely gorgeous. How I remember those exhausting first months, eh, years... It DOES change, it really does, day by day she'll become more independant and your quiet time will return.
It's good to see you still find your own, woolly, quality time also. Good for you!:-)

Some gorgeous work you have there - I totally thought the indigo moon was commercial yarn when I saw the Flickr photo posted. Woman, you sure haven't lost your spinning mojo.

Great to see you two again. She is adorable. It is this mix of emotions--happy to see someone that you created, and a bit chaotic with your lifestyle. But bedtime is a great time to accomplish a lot. You have been working on a lot of amazing stuff. Can't wait to see more of it . . . soon!

Yay, you're back! Lily is adorable- look at those cheeks! Wonderfully spun and plied skeins. You have been busy. Motherhood is exhausting and hard work. It does get better when they become less needy. Have a wonderful time at MS&W.

Oh my goodness!!! Warn somebody next time! I know it's been a while since you've blogged, but I wasn't expecting her to have grown that much - wow! She's so adorable, lookit her all walking and everything...that's so neat....and she's completely adorable. Not sure which picture I like best, with so much to choose from - dad's hat, sock in the mouth, the bottom-lip pout... :-)

Glad to see you've been able to make a little spinning and knitting time - that skater top is beautiful, and I LOVE the Hello Yarn shetland you spun up - gorgeous!

Hooray, it's so nice to see you here again! Lily is completely the cutest thing ever. And all of your knits look great, too!

The interaction thing *definitely* gets easier as time goes on. In another year, she'll be telling you "I'll do it myself, mama!".

Its nice to see you posting.. I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering how you and the little one were getting on. Looks like you've gotten a LOT done knitting & spinning wise.. I remember when my son was little, I barely had time to eat or shower so you're doing well!
I totally understand the need for space.. I'm the same way. As they get bigger you'll get more 'me' time to detox... I did.

wow! i may actually get to see you at MDSW! are you going to be there both days? also, i've been curious. does Lily have the same wool allergies as Scott? been wondering about that for a while now ;)
