Glad that you went in spite of sleep deprivation. I have been there with a child who found sleep loathesome. It does get better someday. I had an earlier teether too and at least you get it over with sooner.

It can be so hard to muster the energy to get yourself out and about, but I'm glad you did. So worth it.

And hooray for Super-Scott!

Oh, and duh, Lily is positively adorable, even if she won't sleep.

I am SO glad you came!!!! It was a joy to meet little Lily and to meet Scott. Having a husband who is willing to help out like that is truly a blessing.

We all tell you "this too shall pass", but it is so hard when you are going thru it. Make sure to take a little time for yourself every day......even if it is giving Scott the baby and going out for a little drive :-)

Um I know you have most likely thought of or even done this..but do you medicate Lily at night? Give her tylenol for the teething pain before bed? I also bought those teether pills..they are 'herbal' rather than a medicine. They should be right there on the baby aisle. I honestly can't say they worked, but at least I felt like I was doing something and it wasn't going to hurt my girls.

Hang in there. Sometimes Motherhood seems like such a long dark LONELY tunnel. Have you tried to find a support group of mommies in your area? It helps so much to find other women in your situation.

You are so lucky to have such a wonderful husband (and daughter of course!). I'm glad you were able to get out and do the fiber thang; it is necessary to "gather ye rosebuds while ye may".

Glad to hear that you were able to get out and enjoy a fiber related day, I'm sure it was just the break that you needed. It's awesome that Scott is there to support you, because I can't imagine that raising a baby is an easy task. But I know that you guys are doing a great job, and that it will get better! She's getting so big, and is absolutely adorable ;)

Hang in there! I had a non-sleeper, too (still, at 7 yrs, has trouble going to sleep) and found that if I did more during the day, thereby tiring him out more, he slept better. It also might help to keep her awake more during the day and not let her power-nap if you can stand it! It takes a few days to re-train her to sleep, but it sometimes works.

Good luck! Mine didn't "sleep through the night" until he was nearly three! The the potty-training and nighttime wake-ups to pee started...

Looks like a great day. I'm so sorry about the sleep! My guy was waking up 4-6 times night until he was about a year old. I hope she gets her act together soon!!!
